Teroldego

Teroldego is the native Trentino grape: it produces "Teroldego Rotaliano DOC", a red of intense personality with firm tannins and a wild-berry profile.

Characteristics and history

Teroldego is the symbolic grape of the Campo Rotaliano in Trentino. DOC since 1971. It produces wines of intense colour, firm tannins, vibrant acidity and a profile of raspberry, blackberry, violet and spices. DNA studies have found kinship with Syrah and Marzemino.
