Greco is a grape of Greek origin (6th-7th century BC) grown in Campania. It is the basis of Greco di Tufo DOCG, produced on the volcanic soils of the Irpinian area of the same name. It produces structured, savoury, mineral wines with a profile of ripe yellow fruit, white flowers, citrus and an almondy finish.
