Born from the 2016 merger of Cantina Kaltern and Erste+Neue (whose origins date back to 1900), it brings together around 650 grower families across nearly 500 hectares overlooking Lake Caldaro. It is the largest cooperative in Alto Adige and the historic custodian of Schiava (Vernatsch) and Kalterersee. The Quintessenz line represents the cellar's qualitative peak.
