Brad Pitt's 50th Birthday and His Excellent Wine

Fifty years old and not feeling it, all in one name: Brad Pitt.
The handsome actor and sex symbol draws an easy analogy with wine!
Too easy, especially because the charming Brad has long had his own production, as is now fashionable among VIPs all over the world!
Angelina Jolie and Brad produce an excellent vino rosé, at their 500-hectare estate in Provence.
The product is called MIRAVAL and its label bears the couple's name.
What makes it different from other VIP wine producers?

Well, the Miraval rosé was named rosé of the year by the authoritative magazine WINE SPECTATOR: "Refined and elegant, it offers a pure concentration of dehydrated red mouth flavors, mandarin and melon," writes Kim Marcus, assigning a score of 90.
The score takes into account not only the wine's quality level but also the value for money and availability in the USA.
First among the rosés, but topping the overall rankings for the first time, a Spanish wine – CUNA RIOJA IMPERIAL GRAN RISERVA – while the "star" couple's nectar came in at eighty-fourth place, preceded by no fewer than 11 Italian wines (the first at sixth place – Giuseppe Mascarello & Figlio Barolo Monprivato).

The wine was born from a collaboration with French winemaker Marc Perrin, who also chose the wine's name.
A mention is also deserved by the bottle, with its elegant, rounded shape and a style that has always characterized the lives of the two beautiful and refined stars; the idea for the shape was in fact theirs!
The wine sold out in just a few hours last March.

"We talked about it a lot and then made our first harvest together," winemaker Marc Perrin told Challenges magazine. "They are very demanding when it comes to the quality and character of their wine."
Brad and Angie's estate is dedicated to the cultivation of organic Syrah grapes (yes, an Italian varietal!) and Cabernet Sauvignon, and has already received several awards in the past, especially for the predecessor to Miraval wine, which was called Pink Floyd: the name was a tribute to the famous band, which had recorded some tracks on the very estate.
The 6,000 bottles produced, sold to wholesalers at around €106 per case (six bottles), were then distributed to high-end restaurants and wine shops.
