Founded in 1964, Terre Cortesi Moncaro is the largest cooperative in the Marche, with more than 1,300 hectares spread across three cellars (800 hectares in Montecarotto alone, 450 of them planted to Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico). It accounts for roughly a quarter of all Verdicchio production, with wines such as Verde Ca' Ruptae, Vigna Novali Riserva and Conero Riserva Vigneti del Parco.
